A talk, a lecture or a webinar already has a structure; it just lives in a video. This tool reads the captions and lays that structure out as slides: one for each main idea, with a short title and bullets, ready to present or to build on.
What you get
One idea per slide
The order of the video becomes the order of the deck.
Figures stay exact

In your account the deck opens in an editor and exports to PowerPoint or a web page.

Questions
Does it download the video?
No. It reads the public captions of the video, the same text YouTube shows when you turn subtitles on. Nothing is downloaded, and your link is not kept.
What if the video has no captions?
Then there is nothing to read. Paste the transcript into the box instead, or open the video's three-dot menu on YouTube and choose Show transcript.
Which languages work?
Any language the video has captions in. The result is written in the language of the captions unless you ask for another in your account.
Do I get a PowerPoint file?
Yes. Create an account, build the whole deck and export it to .pptx.
